We're the bridge between what you see and what you hear

MIDDLE EI8HT

a boutique music supervision collaboration helping agencies, brands, filmmakers and production companies source, clear and supervise culturally relevant music, quickly and intelligently.

About

From international releases to local tracks, we work across film, commercials, series, documentaries and gaming to find the right song for your story. We can also develop custom music solutions tailored to your creative brief. We handle the music rights, licensing and clearance process from start to finish, bridging the gap between sound and visual storytelling. Small enough to move fast, boutique enough to care, and agile enough to adapt. We offer smart music solutions within budget, with direct communication and no unnecessary delays.

The middle eight of a song has always been our favourite part.
It disrupts the familiar, elevates the emotion, and bridges one moment into the next before resolving into something memorable.
Middle Ei8ht was built on that same idea, to become the bridge between what you see and what you hear. Music makes people feel something. With decades of combined experience in the South African and international music industries, Middle Ei8ht was created to help filmmakers, agencies and brands find the right song, the right emotion and the right connection for every story.
